CITTA IMMAGINARIA
Il nuovo progetto di Kirill Simakov “CITTÀ IMMAGINARIA” e il seguito di “Bergamo Favolosa” è dedicato all’incredibile città di Bergamo.
Questo progetto è particolarmente rilevante nell’anno 2023, quando Bergamo e Brescia sono state selezionate come le Capitale italiane della Cultura.
Il progetto fotografico di Kirill fa immergere l’atmosfera di questa città unica, catturandone lo spirito e l’immaginazione.
La luna luminosa, la nebbia che avvolge le strade, (“uccello di ferro” che vola sulle cime della città vecchia, la bizzarra installazione luminosa del centro: tutti questi dettagli, che non sono sfuggiti all’obiettivo del fotografo, creano certamente un’atmosfera che eccita l’immaginazione dello spettatore.
Durante la mostra sarà presentata un’enorme opera di 7 metri di lunghezza in cui Kirill ha catturato il panorama dell’intera città di Bergamo quasi sotto una lente d’ingrandimento dando la possibilità di esaminarla sotto ogni angolo. Diversi titoli delle fotografie in mostra saranno scritti in un linguaggio immaginario e allo spettatore verrà chiesto di indovinarli. Un altro evento interessante della mostra, nell’era della tecnologia moderna e dell’intelligenza artificiale, saranno i quadri basati su foto di Kirill, utilizzando una rete neurale. Si può solo immaginare cosa ne verrà fuori!

IMAGINARY CITY
Kirill Simakov’s new project “Imaginary city” and the sequel to “Fabulous Bergamo” is dedicated to the incredible city of Bergamo.
This project is particularly relevant in the year 2023, when Bergamo and Brescia were selected as the Italian Capitals of Culture.
Kirill’s photographic project immerses the atmosphere of this unique city, capturing its spirit and imagination.
The bright moon, the fog that envelops the streets, (“iron bird” flying over the peaks of the old city, the bizarre light installation of the center: all these details, which have not escaped the photographer’s lens, certainly create an atmosphere that excites the viewer’s imagination.
During the exhibition a huge work of 7 meters in length will be presented in which Kirill captured the panorama of the entire city of Bergamo almost under a magnifying glass giving the opportunity to examine it from every corner.Several titles of the photographs on display will be written in imaginary language and the viewer will be asked to guess them. Another interesting event of the exhibition, in the era of modern technology and artificial intelligence, will be the photo-based paintings of Kirill, using a neural network. You can only imagine what will come out of it!
The exhibition is carried out under the patronage of the Municipality and Province of Bergamo.
